Unexplained Mysteries

Everyone likes mystical and dark histories, especially when they are real and we can't explain them rationally.
A lot of people can just look at us like on lunatics and find out semi-realistic explanation but it only ruins mood and our joy from telling this stories. There are plenty of them, but in my first part of presentation I'd like toshow you some of them. Let's start!

Disappearing Lake

In Patagonia, Chile, there was a big lake. It had about 5 miles. Nothing special. But one day, on May 2007 it just disappeared. Just. Only a 30 meter deep pit was left. Last time a geologist was checking this lake on March and nothing seemed wrong with it. What happened during 2 months to make from lake a tiny stream? It was shocking. There were suggestions about an earthquake which drained the lake but there were no reports of any earthquakes. UFO enthusiasts didn't wait and concluded that a spaceship drained the water, but the problem is it is unsolved to this day.

Fish Falls

The phenomenon was observed in Ethiopia in the year 2000 where millions of fish fell from the sky. Shocking
was the fact some of them were alive! It created panic amongst religious people. Unfortunately it was extremely hard for scientists to explain this case. They had a theory that tornado or storm lift fishes from the ponds and took them away, but it was a weak explanation because at most times it only rains there. The Case is still not solved.

Crop Circles

Quite a popular cause. People divide into three groups: first group believe it's work of UFO, second group doesn't believe the first group, and the third one which doesn't care at all.

But the thing is interesting. Crop circles have been observed in almost all parts of the world since 1990s. People who don't believe say it is a manmade show and effect of their experiments. But how can we know?

Bermuda Triangle

The Bermuda Triangle, also known as the Devil's triangle is an area of water in the North Atlantic Ocean in
which a large number of planes and boats have gone missing in mysterious circumstances.

Popular culture has connected these disappearances to the paranormal or activity by extraterrestrial beings.
One explanation pins the blame on technology leftover from the mythical lost continent of Atlantis but these
are supernatural explanations. When we look at natural or scientific explanation it looks different. There are a few theories like powerful hurricanes, human error, rogue waves, gulf stream, deliberate acts of destruction or
compass variations.

Atlhough people made a lot of ideas and did many researches there is still no answer for this unusual number of
disappeared planes in this area.

Faces of Belmez
Can you see faces at these pictures? They are not acts of arts of some begging artist, but forms that have
appeared in Pereira family home for twenty years! They have different expressions and arriving time. They also
disappear after some time! Investigations discovered human body from under the house, but even exhumation didn't stop face trips.

Raining Blobs

1994 year. Oakville in Washington. Instead of refreshing rain, people were witnesses of gelatinous blobs falling
from the sky. After that inhabitants of the small town started to develop flu-like symptoms. But one smart
guy sent a sample of the blobs for testing. What was surprising, the blobs contained human white blood cells.
After further analysis they discovered two types of bacteria, one from human digestive system. But they still didn't solve the problem and blobs became a great mystery. No one can tell the connections to the mysterious sickness....

Have you enjoyed these stories?

How you could explain some of these mysterious?

  1. I like such kind of mysterious stories. It makes me feel a little bit shocking and interested about it. I like to get know something new about case which has happened and it is still unsolved. After reading such kind of articles I try to find solution of it but it is really hard. I think that most of this cases are from God and looking for answer for it is without a sens because you can't find logical explanation of it. Maybe it is some kind of warning...

  2. History of Fish Falls is interesting. It reminded me of a rain of dead birds, which took place in the town of Beebe, Arkansas this year. According to the authorities, found an explanation as to why this happened. Death of birds caused the fireworks. But is that true?
Some believe that this is a secret military experiment that got out of control. Others explain the death of the animals from contact with aliens. I wonder what caused the "rain of dead birds" and "rain of fish"?

  3. Well I also like those kind of mysteries. Have you noticed that most crop circles appeared in US? This is interesting. I have seen on the Discovery channel a reportage about crop circles. They were trying to prove that they are made by human. And they did some experiment, which ended successfully (with crop circle) but it took a lot of preparation and a lot of people to make it, not mentioning time here. What is interesting is that usually those crops appear (are done) during one night - here it was done during the day and took more than one day.
Have you heared about the Project HARPP? This is ofcourse US project which can cause an eartquake, fake aurora and much more things - this can be powerful weapon in future. I encourage you to read about it, it is interesting.

  4. The most fascinating histories are these are not explain.

Regarding to the the first Unexplained Mysteries of a lake in Chile, the scientists have proved that in the glacier near the lake creating enormous gap. Water seep through it and flowed into the sea.
The greatest mystery for me is Crop Circles. I want to know more about the way they arise? How is it possible that at one night are creating different circles in the field of grain? These are some signs? After your post I have read more about it on the internet. Unfortunately, each page has a different theory. Some of them contend that is UFO, another that it`s strong wind and others claim the people create these circles. One thing is for sure- everyone has a different opinion. For long time that will be a phenomen.

  5. I like mystery stories! When I've time then I'm reading or searching in web or books about mystery stories. People will always be intrigued about unsolved stories. This is in our genes. I was always excited to read about the mysteries:
Bermuda Triangles, Crop Circles, Faces of Belmez and more things.
Here you've some sttories from me:

  6. That Crop Circles was the funniest thing.
Many people was thinking that UFO landed on they fields. Of course it was made by humans.
The ones who are creating that crop circles, started to make challenges for themselfs:
    - Much complex figures
    - How fast they can make it

Once i heard that some students made this as they thesis. They were proving that it could by make by humans in very short time.

  7. As for the crop circles, there's one famous that has to do with IT, i.e. the famous Firefox crop circle made by some students (http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&om=1&z=16&ll=45.123785,-123.113962&spn=0.012112,0.024097&t=h)

Wikipedia states that the Bermuda Triangle mystery may be caused by some kind of underground eruption causing the ships to sink but that doesn't solve the problem with airplanes.

Being rationalistic makes me believe (pretty oxymoronic ;)) that maybe we just don't have sufficient knowledge or we don't monitor things that good to have the answers to all the mysteries. We have to remember that 2000 years ago people perceived an eclipse as a God's wrath.

After all I find these stories quite amusing because they made me try to find the explanations.

  8. Ahh, unexplained mysteries are interesting and seem extraordinary only till they get solved!

I don't believe in any paranormal stories, underwater civilizations or aliens from the outer space :) I'm pretty sure the mechanism that works in peoples' minds is that when they face a problem they don't simply get they desperately need any kind of explanation... Depending on a person the explanataion can be more or less logical:)

However those kind of stories are pretty good to read about :) So here's more!

    1. A disapperaing lake is one thing, can you imagine a river that disappeard over one night? Such thing happend to Iska river in Slovenia once - here's a video from YT:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZbVfiwts0Y

    ...and here's my favourite!

    2. The sailing stones!
It's a mystery of stones in the Death Valey (USA), that moves! There's a place called 'race track', where the stones leaves tracks of their movement over the years. It seems nobody is moving them :) it needs to be some natural phenomenon, but what kind of phenomenon is that?!

  9. Nice stories. Many of them, as we can reed in comments are the objects of researches, and many cases were solved. Science gives such great possibilities. Not so long ago, some researchers proved that it was possible that Mojżesz and people fleeing from egipt were able to pass through the see. They observed very strong winds in this region. After simulations, taking into consideration fact that see bottom is not so deep, it turned out that if wind will blow about 100km/h the see will uncover the bottom. But still, isn't it a miracle?

  10. I really like mysterious stories, although I thing they all can be rationally explained (if not now, maybe in a future). They are a good inspiration to many books or movies.
I have never heard of Disappearing Lake. It is interesting how this huge amount of water can disappear so quickly.
Crop Circles - I think that almost everyone have heard of them. In my opinion they have been made by humans.
Raining Blobs have intrigued me the most. Maybe just some big monster from space sneezed. ;)

  11. I would rather say that I do not believe in such a mystery stories. There are plenty of them appearing each day. This is mostly the reason that the good scientist do not even try to explain them. Still they can be interesting. I consider such stories as a part of camping’s, when we meet with friends and talk scary things to make the climate. Some are created during such meetings. I do agree that not all is the fiction, but mostly it is an exaggeration of interpretation of the facts. Let’s focus on the Ethiopic rain of fishes, I think that there dropped several fishes on the ground and then someone called it later a rain.
