  1. Even after reading a lot about hypnosis it won't be useful until proffesional hypnotiser will work with us. I'm also not sure if hypnosis can hel me with m life.
It's also hard to agree or not agree with these facts since they are confirmed by researches.

  2. I still think it would be a nice idea to get hypnotised from time to time :)

I've heard some of those myths, but one of them is the most interesting - number 1. a necessary condition for hypnosis is a state of complete relaxation.

I've always thought that hypnosis IS a state of relaxation. But maybe I'm confusing it with the meditation :)

  3. I have no opinion on the myths above, I had never experienced hypnosis so it's hard to tell.

One thing I know after reading this presentation that I would like to take part in a show involving hypnosis. Maybe not exactly as the one to be hypnotised but on the audience to be able to see how it looks in real life.

I don't have any addictions to things I'd like to quit so hypnosis isn't that useful for me. One thing I'd like to try is learning during hypnosis. Systems like SITA rely on relaxation to boost the learning curve, I wonder how hypnosis would work out.

  4. Eh, I really don't know what I can say about myths.. Most of these are false for me.

And I think hipnosis cannot help me with my psyhic problems or something similar. ;) Before I wanted to learn hipnosis ;) but when I learned that is full of tricks and magic.. and sometime it doesn't helped.

  5. If swinging watch is not used anymore, so how is done nowadays? On each movie there is always this watch so I am curious if you know the other way to induce into hypnosis.
I also think that hypnosis would not be useful for me - maybe only as a form of entertainment during some party ;> But for some serious reason not.

  6. I know almost every one of this myths. And I think that all of them is true. Summarizing I think that hypnosis is very useful. Hypnosis is used in clinical psychology and hypnotherapy, among others as one of the methods of diagnosis and treatment of neurotic disorders and addiction therapy. Hypnosis allows the subconscious exploration of the areas of stored images and situations, and thus finds application in forensic analysis.

  7. Answering your question I definitely can say that I won`t use this method. For me this is really good thread in movies. People believe that it can be useful because they saw it in television. Good way to swindling money from desperate. Interfering into our brain can change something with no return. We even do not realize how danger it brings. The specialist use this method has a need to manipulate and convince other of his strengths. We are so confident and addict of hypnosis that we are able to pay each price. Before we start search this kind of methods let see more universal types and think over if we really need it.

  8. I've heard that hypnosis can be helpful in determining the cause of such depression, or in finding the cause of the conflict between two people. I think that if a person can no longer find the appropriate help is looking for other unconventional methods of treatment for example like hypnosis.

  9. Because of your presentation I've read few articles about hypnosis and I
discovered something that I found interesting. I've read you cannot be
hypnotized when you don't want to. I always thought that hypnosis can be done
to everybody against their will. I'm glad that it's just a myth.

  10. I heard about some of this ten myths about hypnosis, but even after knowing the truth my attitude hasn't change.
After reading all of your three part of presentation and some articles in Internet I still feel skeptical about hypnosis. I dont't want to try it now or in the future and I can't agree it may be useful in anesthesiology.

  11. I never realized that television and books made so many false stereotypes. After reading all parts I feel I am much less ignoramus than before. And much less scared of hypnosis after reading this myths. It was very good idae that you write myths and facts as comparison.

  12. I knew or at least thought that most of those were myths and I really don't know where do people get so many false statements about hypnosis. Actually the knowledge about hypnosis in the society is rather minimal. I would really like to know more about it. I think it may be very useful for people to get better results at work, and to avoid burnout by relaxing from time to time.

  13. There are so many facts which influence on my opinion that it can't work: one can be hypnotized during sport exercises? How he can focus on anything? One can lie during hypnosis? So it really works? People are aware what is going on around them? So are they in some different state than normal? This is difficult for me to understand. So what really is necessary to get someone involved in this state, or is it like watching TV, we are in room, but if we are so absorbed in film we can barely hear what others are talking to us and what is going on expects TV screen?
